About Me

Athabascan Filmmaker • Cinematographer • Director

Patrick Hoffman

I’m an Indigenous Athabascan filmmaker from Anchorage, Alaska, with a deep commitment to meaningful storytelling. I studied Video and Audio Production at The Evergreen State College, where I built skills in cinematography, editing, sound design, and narrative craft under the guidance of experienced mentors. Along the way, I earned professional certificates in Adobe Creative Suite and Pro Tools, and became highly proficient in DaVinci Resolve—giving me a versatile toolkit across video and audio post-production.

My work spans the documentary KAKIÑIIT on Indigenous facial tattoos, a series of short films, and music videos for local artists. In 2023, I joined The Porcupine Media, where I quickly advanced to Director of Video Production—leading projects, mentoring creatives, and producing culturally rooted content. Now, as head of my own independent media company, I continue to specialize in documentaries, music videos, interview-driven storytelling, and full-spectrum production. My creative ethos blends Indigenous heritage, cinematic craft, and community connection—bringing both cultural integrity and technical excellence to every project I create.
