Nosfer-HOT-tu: Old Flame, Fresh Blood is a narrative project I created in my apartment, casting friends with no prior acting experience and using props I sourced specifically for the shoot. I used ChatGPT to assist in writing and adapting the script to fit the equipment and locations I had available. To bring the story to life, I experimented with practical effects like “fake blood” made from Kool-Aid, and sourced and placed all sound effects myself from various sources. Before filming the final piece, I produced a mock video, which made the shoot much smoother and helped coordinate everyone involved. This project was a playful and hands-on exploration of storytelling, practical effects, and audio design in a home setting.
