Amorous Adventures and Exploits
Amorous Adventures and Exploits was one of the first assignments I completed in the Intro to Video program at The Evergreen State College. Created during the pandemic, it’s an animated interview-style project with all interviews conducted over Zoom. Each visual element was hand-drawn, scanned, and layered individually in After Effects, where I used the Puppet Tool to animate mouth movements and manipulate background elements like bushes for added depth. This meticulous process allowed for a dynamic and fully layered animated world. The project was admitted into multiple film festivals and screened at MoPop in Seattle, Washington, marking a significant milestone in my early animation work.

Porcupine Media Interviews is a series I created to highlight local businesses and artists around Olympia and Washington, providing engaging content for viewers while giving value to those featured. My assistant records me on camera while I capture high-quality audio using a field recorder. To maintain visual continuity, I wear the same vest in each interview. Over time, the series expanded from businesses to local artists and creatives. This has become the most successful project of my video career to date in terms of views, engagement, and audience response.
